Thanks for all the comments. I have done my best to set limits but the kids do stay up after I am asleep. They are not getting enough sleep for school. My 15 year old is a little easier to discipline but I have a 20 year old doing the same thing. It has hurt his college grades tremendously. I hate to see this destroy his chance of a college education. It is very hard as a parent to see your son doing this to himself.

Is the disc theirs? If so then you actually if they paid for it have no right to destroy it. Atleast in my opinion.

yeah if they paid for it you shouldn't destroy it... and if one of them is 20, well then, I guess you can't really do too much there.

I would not destroy their disk. Exactly, there is not much I can do for the 20 year old except encourage him to think before he ruins any chance he has at an education due to this game. I guess my question for you other gamers, is what is it about this game that can get somebody hooked? I just can't understand it.

I love final fantasy.... all the games from 7 up till now, all the movies, well, maybe not all the movies, but I can't wait for the new movie. Unfortunately I cannot tell you what makes it so addicting. I simply enjoy final fantasy. But I have not played a computer game in a very long time. Too much stuff for me to do. Can't wait to get back though. It's all about priorities. And if your oldest son has final fantasy as a priority, he prob won't change that until the game is over, or old, or boring.

I really fnd FF games boring, confusing and dumb. I really just don't get them or their style of play.

Well I Am Hooked On This One Game, But My Parents Say That I Can Only Play On The Weekends, I Think That Will Be Negotial For Your Kids, If They Dont Listen, Then Restrict Them From The Computer, Take Something They Love Away, It Works For My Parents, But They Learn To Quick

Well All Us Kids Are Looking At Is A 3 Dimensional Game That You Have All These Possobilitys, That Game, You Do Stuff That Your Kids Like, Its Very Original For Kids To Love A Game, The Only Way To Get Them Off The Game, Its To Use Disopline, Hope This Helps
