i use trillian and i LOVE it. its got 200+ smileys and its really easy 2 use.

i just installed it today (ver 3.1) and i cant get it to work for my msn messenger! any suggestions?

ok, I dunno what the problem is but to set up your account you click on the blue round button on the top if you are using the default skin. It will say, manage my connections, click on that, on the bottom of the window that pops up there should be a button that says "add a new connection" click on it then click on msn. simlpy fill in your passport, or the username you usually use, then your password, select "connect and it should work.
Also try clicking help, and checking for updates. If none of this works, well then I guess we'll just have to figure it out.

yeah. ive done all that and it stll wont work. i can sign onto the regular msn messenger just fine! i just cant get it to work w/trillian for some reason.

umm... this may b a dumb question but do u hav the "always connect to this account on startup" option in the connection management checked?

yup. i dont know whats going on w/it. i downloaded another prog thats like trillian and it connected to msn w/o any problem, but i dont like it as much as i do trillian.

have you got your other messengers added in yet, AIM etc

yeah. yahoo, aim, and icq all work just fine. just cant get msn to for some reason!

a lot of people I know have problems with trillan. either its the msn or the aim.

I dont lke it at all. I try it a while ago and removed it the same week
